Dr. Pezhman Hourizadeh, OD
Optometrist & CEO Corona Vision
Dr. Hourizadeh completed his undergraduate studies at SUNY Stony Brook, and received his Doctorate of Optometry from SUNY State College of Optometry. He is the founder of Corona Vision, which started as a small one room office in Rego Park in 2006 and has grown into five offices, open six days a week, and providing eye care needs to families throughout Queens. Dr. H completed an externship in adolescent and pediatric eye care, and sees patients of all ages. He also specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Glaucoma, Keratoconus, Amblyopia, Strabismus, and many more.
Dr. Jane Isakova, OD
Dr. Isakova received her undergraduate degree from St. John's University in Queens, and received her Doctorate of Optometry from SUNY State College of Optometry. Dr. Isakova completed an externship in pediatric and adolescent eye care, and examines children of all ages. She also specializes in hard to fit soft and hard contact lenses/gas permeable contacts.
Dr. Kathleen Johnson, od
Dr. Johnson received her undergraduate degree in Biology from St. John's University in Queens, and received her Doctorate of Optometry from SUNY State College of Optometry. Dr. Johnson completed an externship in contact lenses and specializes in hard to fit rigid gas permeable contact lenses for corneal degenerations and dystrophies including keratoconus and irregular astigmatism. She also specializes in pediatric and geriatric eye care.
Dr. Bella Davydov, OD
Dr. Bella Davydov received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Queens College and completed her Doctorate of Optometry degree at SUNY College of Optometry. Dr. Davydov trained at Woodhill hospital and St. Alban's VA medical center under supervision of excellent OD's. She specializes in diagnosis and management of ocular diseases such as cataract, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, etc. She sees patients of all ages, with focus on pediatric and geriatric care.
DR. MILANA BABAYEVA, OD
Dr. Milana Babayeva received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Hunter College, and received her Doctorate of Optometry from SUNY State College of Optometry. Dr. Babayeva completed several externships in St. Albans VA Hospital and East New York Diagnostic and Treatment Center, where she was trained in Ocular Disease and Glaucoma. She also completed an externship in contact lenses and specializes in hard to fit rigid gas permeable and scleral contact lenses for corneal conditions such as Keratoconus. She examines patients of all ages, and is conversant in multiple languages including Russian and Spanish.
DR. NIKI TSAMI, OD
Dr. Tsamis received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Cornell University, and earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry, where she was Vice President of her class. Dr. Tsamis performs comprehensive exams for patients of all ages, including contact lens fittings. She specializes in the treatment of dry eye and ocular allergies.
Dr. Tsamis was recognized for outstanding professional and ethical attitude by the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society. She is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the New York State Optometric Association. She has volunteered her time with Volunteer Optometric Services for Humanity, traveling to Jalisco, Mexico to provide comprehensive eye exams to the local community, and with Habitat for Humanity building homes in Braga, Portugal, Dr. Tsamis performs eye exams in English, French, Greek and Spanish.
DR. Frank fong , OD
Dr. Fong graduated magna cum laude from Stony Brook University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science and Radiologic Technology. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree, he became a certified Radiologic Technologist and worked at Mount Sinai Beth Israel’s Radiology and Emergency departments. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry.
During his optometric clinical rotations, Dr. Fong completed Ocular Disease externships at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Lyons, New Jersey, and the Advanced Care/Ocular Disease Clinics at the University Eye Center. He also completed a Pediatrics and Vision Therapy externship at Ezra Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Fong’s specialty interest is in Vision Therapy and enjoys working with children and adults to maximize their visual potential
